We have been with Monica for more than a year and my son was completely non verbal when we started and within months my son started developing some speech. I know all children are different , but Monica goes beyond to help your child develop speech . She also introduced my son to the AAC device to help him communicate even more, which we would have never knew it was available until she recommended it to us . “Monica began working with Maddox a little after his 2nd birthday. From the moment she said hello to him it was history. She put every ounce of her effort and expertise to try and reach my Maddox who was having severe language difficulties amongst other barriers. Her techniques and years of experience slowly started to build the foundation of what would one day be a steady home. She taught him many skills but the most important one was she taught him different ways to communicate. Monica took problems and turned them into solutions. She taught him to sign, how to communicate using photos, as well as communication devices. Her dedication to Maddox was superior to all and we are forever thankful for the work she put into him”

I have known Monica Valdivia for the past Seven months. Working with Monica was a privilege and it was an honor to have met her. She is very knowledgeable, and serious about her work. Her work ethic is impeccable. She has shown care, love and so much kindness to my granddaughter as a patient. Monica developed a special bond with my granddaughter while working with her and treated her like she was family. This made me feel comfortable and at ease. My son, T.J. and I had the pleasure of working with Monica for about 6 months. During that time my son went from 3 words to literally hundreds. She is patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about what she does and the result was a 2 year old that would not (and will not!) stop talking! She is a blessing and we still keep in touch

Sometimes we come across people that help us in ways we never thought we needed. Monica was the light of hope and happiness for us, not just through her words but through the results my daughter showed after starting feeding therapy with her. In the beginning during our very first therapy session, what was once an overwhelming feeling of uncertainty, was quickly turned into peace of mind. Monica explained the game-plan she put in place towards my daughters success and boy did she deliver! My daughter is thriving and is in the cusp of no longer needing feeding therapy. Monica really has helped not just my daughter but us in ways I don’t think she will ever understand. I really hope more children get to experience the love and care she has for her patients and the passion for her profession the parents will notice she brings to every therapy session
