2-Speech/Language OR Feeding Evaluation

After reviewing the case history form, the therapist meets with the family and the child. A comprehensive evaluation is completed based on clinical observations, standardized tests (when applicable), and parent/caregiver report in order to determine the child’s strengths and weaknesses, as well as current level of functioning. Based on evaluation results and parent’s expectations, an individualized plan of care is developed to address areas of weakness. Referrals to other specialists  and/or services will be determined as needed. 

Duration: 90 minutes ($200)

 3. Speech/Language OR Feeding Intervention 

Treatment is always individualized based on the child’s needs and family’s expectations.  Our culture at Chat & Munch is to work very closely with the family, as we consider that caregivers have an important role in the child’s therapeutic process.  Frequency of therapy sessions is determined based on the child’s needs and can occur on a routine basis 1-2 times per week, or as needed.   Sessions include direct treatment and parent education.  

Duration: 45 minutes ($80). 

4. Consultation 

We offer consultation services to coach parents/caregivers in how to use strategies and techniques during daily activities at home to improve communication, play and/or child’s positive attitude towards food. A comprehensive evaluation is required prior to consultations in order to customized recommendations and education to the individual needs of your child.

Duration: 45 minutes ($80).
